Free Play, Saves, Credits, and Plans
The short version
You can start the main photo-to-puzzle workflow for free.
Sign-in is required when you want to save a puzzle record or use AI generation. Credits and plans only matter when you move beyond basic browser play into saved records, share links, or paid AI usage.
What is free
In the basic flow, you can:
- Create and play a photo puzzle
- Try the puzzle without saving it
- Understand the main workflow before deciding whether saving or paid features matter

What counts as saving
Saving is different from just playing.
When you save, Jigsawify creates a reusable record and can generate a stable link. That is the point where sign-in becomes relevant.

How save limits work
Save limits apply to creating new saved records, not to normal play.
If you hit the limit:
- You can still keep playing for free
- You just cannot create additional saved records until you unlock more capacity
- The app will explain the options at the save step

How AI credits work
AI generation is separate from basic photo play.
It requires:
- Sign-in
- Credits
That is why AI actions are shown separately from the free play path.
When plans matter
Plans matter when you want more of the features that depend on saved records, share capacity, or AI usage.
If you are only trying the main puzzle flow, you do not need to decide on a plan immediately. If you want to keep more saved puzzles, share them more consistently, or use more AI generation, a plan may be the right next step.
Common misunderstandings
- Free play means the main workflow is usable without paying first
- Saving is not the same as basic play
- AI is not the same as photo upload
- A plan is only needed when you want the features that depend on it
